On May 13, Xi’an Fanyi University, in collaboration with iFLYTEK Co., Ltd, hosted a Sci-Tech Innovation Carnival, showcasing the research achievements of faculty and students.

The event was attended by university leaders, including President Luo Yun and Vice Presidents Guo Wei, Wang Lin, and Fan Xiangyu, as well as Sun Huaquan, general manager of iFLYTEK's Shaanxi Branch. Thousands of faculty members and students participated.

Fan Xiangyu emphasized the university's commitment to innovation-driven development, highlighting the event as a key initiative for integrating industry, education, and research. He encouraged students to embrace technology, ignite creativity, and pursue growth through practice.

Sun Huaquan noted that iFLYTEK integrates real-industry projects and cutting-edge technologies into its talent cultivation system. This approach helps students bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace demands. He remarked that the carnival showcases the success of collaborative talent training and marks a new era of cooperation.

The carnival featured diverse activities and exhibits, including AI education services, AI metaverse portrait customization, and intelligent robotic arms. These displays highlighted significant achievements in artificial intelligence and big data.

University leaders toured the exhibition booths, interacting with student exhibitors and praising their innovations. Interactive experiences, such as AI portrait customization and Linux system installation, attracted many participants, creating a lively atmosphere.

The event, hosted by the Faculty of Science and Engineering and co-organized by the School of Artificial Intelligence Industry, marks a significant step in promoting industry-education integration.

Since 2023, the university and iFLYTEK have collaborated to establish the School of Artificial Intelligence Industry, developing high-standard labs and supporting regional economic development. Moving forward, both parties will continue their strategic cooperation to enhance educational advancement through innovation.
