The 10th National College Biomedical Engineering Innovation Design Competition Finals in Xi'an, hosted by the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and Xi'an Jiaotong University, began at the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Port in Shaanxi province.

The competition featured 6 tracks, including clinical transformation, advanced technology, AI empowerment, "the Belt and Road" international, innovation and entrepreneurship, and China Physiological Signal Challenge, encompassing key biomedical engineering fields.
Over 280 units, 4,200 teams, and 15,000 students participated, marking a record high. The international track attracted students from 22 countries, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Academician Luo Qingming highlighted the competition's growth since 2014, encouraging students to address clinical needs innovatively. Activities such as the 2025 Biomedical Engineering College Student Career Planning Competition and forums provided a platform for learning and networking. A high-end forum on life sciences and technology inspired cutting-edge research. Academician Hu Shengshou praised the competition's role in talent development.
Xi'an Jiaotong University, a pioneer in biomedical engineering education, hosted the event, emphasizing integration of education, technology, and talent. The 10th Education Exhibition showcased 566 projects, demonstrating young talents' innovation and skills visually.
