The National Outstanding Teacher Representatives' "Educator Spirit" 2025 Touring Preaching Activity made its way to Shaanxi province in Northwest China where a preaching report meeting was held on Feb 26 to promote the spirit of educators.
Zhao Xin, deputy director of the Teacher Work Department of the Ministry of Education, attends the meeting and delivers a speech.
During his address, Zhao Xin highlighted the Ministry of Education's 2025 initiative of touring lecture on the educator spirit. The aim was to deeply instill the essence of the National Education Conference, use outstanding teachers as role models, integrate the educator spirit into daily life, and transform it into a conscious pursuit of values.

The report meeting utilized a centralized reporting and discussion exchange approach, effectively conveying the contemporary value of the "educator spirit" through simple language, touching narratives, and vivid examples.
Prior to the meeting, Li Xiaobing, the secretary of the Party Committee of Shaanxi Normal University, and You Xuqun, the university's president, engaged in discussions with the presentation team.
In his speech, Wu Zhenlei, the deputy director of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province, encouraged teachers in Shaanxi to seize this opportunity to internalize the essence of the educator spirit. He emphasized the need to enhance their sense of responsibility and mission in advancing education in the province, translating the educator spirit into tangible actions that nurture talents, drive reforms, and foster innovation. He urged educators to approach their work with increased enthusiasm and address development challenges with robust solutions.
The meeting was conducted through a combination of online live streaming and an offline venue. Hundreds of representatives from universities, middle schools, primary schools, and kindergartens, as well as students, participated in the on-site activities. Additionally, over 2.05 million individuals from the education sector in the province accessed and listened to the reports online.
