The 3rd Carbon Neutrality (Xi'an) International Forum, organized by Northwest University, opened on Tuesday in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, with the aim of advancing green transformations in economic and social development while fostering global collaboration to combat climate change.
The forum revolves around the core concept of "strengthening climate change cooperation and promoting comprehensive green transformation", aiming to gather global wisdom, build an open platform for cooperation, jointly explore green development paths, and contribute to achieving China's "dual carbon" goals and global climate governance.

Sub-forums on climate change cooperation and youth engagement covered topics such as CCUS technology, carbon economy and policy frameworks, underscoring the forum's commitment to advancing international collaboration for climate action.
