Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SSE) and Xi'an Jiaotong University convened a symposium on Sept 25 at the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Port in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, Northwest China. The objective was to leverage technology finance in bolstering advanced technological self-reliance and fostering a virtuous cycle of deep integration among "technology-industry-finance".

The symposium is organized to bolster technological development and innovation through financial means.

The unveiling ceremony took place at the launch of the Achievement Transformation Service Window by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Science and Technology Exchange Center at the port.

During the seminar, Lu Jianjun, the secretary of the Party Committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University, expressed gratitude for the support from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, emphasizing the pivotal role of finance in propelling technological innovation and industrial progress.

Lu highlighted that the establishment of the service window would inject significant momentum into the conversion of scientific and technological breakthroughs at Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Under the guidance and backing of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and local governments, Xi'an Jiaotong University aims to actively explore novel production relationships conducive to the evolution of high-quality productivity. The university seeks to contribute expertise and resources to hasten the advancement of new quality productivity, bolster the creation of a fresh paradigm for western development in the contemporary era, and facilitate high-quality progress.

At the gathering, representatives from both Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Xi'an Jiaotong University delineated the construction and operational strategies of the service window. Attendees exchanged insights on optimizing the role of the capital market, propelling the conversion of scientific and technological accomplishments, and supporting the amalgamated progress of scientific and technological innovation alongside industrial innovation.

The service window is situated at Anke Square within the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Port, a collaborative effort between the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Science and Technology Center and the National Technology Transfer Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The Xi'an Jiaotong University Technology Achievement Transfer Co., Ltd. oversees the actual operations.

Simultaneously, the online service zone of the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Port has been launched and is operational on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Science and Technology Exchange Center website. Presently, 111 high-caliber scientific and technological achievements from Xi'an Jiaotong University have been unveiled and showcased. Service features such as achievement releases, demand matching, and online transactions are now available, fostering an "online+offline" service synergy with the service window.
