“Three Ones” event opens at Nantong Institute of Technology

The "Three Ones"event, aimed at private enterprises in Jiangsu province wishing to enter colleges and universities, kicked off at the Nantong Institute of Technology on October 27.

The "Three Ones" event includes an entrepreneurship and innovation-sharing meeting, an industry, education and research docking meeting between universities and enterprises, and a talent recruitment meeting for enterprises.

Three local private entrepreneurs shared their experience of entrepreneurship and innovation with teachers and students. An industry, education and research docking meeting between universities and enterprises and a talent recruitment meeting were held consecutively.

The enterprise talent recruitment fair was held in the college gymnasium square, with more than 122 private enterprises from across the province offering more than 5,000 jobs, attracting the attention of more than 4,000 recent graduates. The enterprise received 3,750 resumes on site, among them 1,869 reached preliminary agreements with enterprises.

Prior to the event, 53 new scientific research achievements of the Nantong Institute of Technology were released in a variety of ways. Ten teams of professors from the Nantong Institute of Technology introduced the institute’s outstanding scientific research progress to 33 enterprises on site.

The college signed cooperation contracts with six enterprises, including Nanjing Anyuan Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongtian Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Kerian Automation Technology Co., Ltd.

Nearly 600 people from the college and local government attended the event.

The "Three Ones" event for private enterprises in Jiangsu wishing to enter colleges and universities is a nationwide brand campaign initiated by the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Since its launch in 2018, it has been held in 11 colleges and universities, including Nanjing University, the China Mining University, the Nanjing University of Technology, Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University, the Jiangsu Institute of Technology, Nantong University, and the Nantong Institute of Technology. Thirty entrepreneurs shared their journey of entrepreneurship and innovation during the event in the hopes of inspiring young graduates. Nearly 4,000 people listened to the reports on the institute’s research, more than 430 enterprises released over 11,000 jobs, and 149 enterprises and universities connected more than 200 scientific research needs, which was warmly welcomed by universities, students and entrepreneurs.
