Four primary schools in Kunming will join efforts with a primary school in Mohan, a far-flung town deep in the southern part of Southwest China's Yunnan province. The actions follow Kunming’s taking over of the land port town, and aim to improve local education.

The Primary School Affiliated to Yunnan Normal University, one of the top primary schools in the city, led the incentive and became the first school to sign a co-building agreement with Mohan’s school.

A team of ten proficient teachers from the Primary School Affiliated to Yunnan Normal University have been sent to support the work. They will give lectures to students, provide training to local teachers, and explore future moves and measures to facilitate further comprehensive cooperation between the schools.
