At 10 am on April 25, Tsinghua University held its 110th anniversary ceremony at New Tsinghua Xuetang. The theme of this year’s anniversary was “Strive for Excellence; Innovate for the Future.”

Tsinghua President Qiu Yong delivered a speech, and Chairperson of the Tsinghua University Council Chen Xu presided over the ceremony.

Representatives of domestic and international universities, Tsinghua alumini, teachers and students, as well as officials from the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Chinese Ministry of Education attended and addressed the event.

The ceremony was broadcast live in both Chinese and English on various social media platforms.
