Shanghai Jiao Tong University recently showcased itself to overseas students interested in studying in China at the Times Higher Education Talk Global Study Fair (Asia).

The online fair enabled students to learn more about universities and speak directly with educators through live broadcast and text interaction.

The fair shared the latest information on China's educational resources and recruitment policies for international students and helped answer questions related to studying in China.

The online event attracted over 1,000 international students from more than 10 countries, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, India and Pakistan.

Since its founding in 1896, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has always regarded talent training as a core task. It has over the decades cultivated a number of outstanding politicians, scientists, social activists, industrialists, engineers and technicians, and medical experts.
