Xi’an Jiaotong University, one of China’s top universities which is headquartered in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, Northwest China, held a jobs fair on March 20 to help its 2021 graduates find work.

Sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and the university, the meeting attracted nearly 10,000 graduates from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Lanzhou University, Qingdao University and other colleges and universities both inside and outside the province.
More than 730 employers (including 203 medical and health groups) from 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities came to the university to recruit talents, between them providing more than 30,000 recruitment posts.

Xi'an Jiaotong University actively serves national strategic needs. In order to optimize the strategic distribution of talents and further improve the quality of graduates' employment, it implements a "student employment guidance plan" to guide graduates to make contributions to important scientific research institutions, national defense and military industrial units, grass-roots public departments and international organizations.

In order to broaden graduates' employment channels, the university takes talent introduction and employment practice as an important part of the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Guangdong, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Shanxi and other provinces. It cooperates with Jiangyin city in Jiangsu province, Qingyuan city in Guangdong province, Karamay city in Xinjiang autonomous region, Binzhou city in Shandong province, Zhangjiagang city in Jiangsu province, Hanjiang district in Yangzhou city, Keqiao district in Shaoxing city and Shunde district in Foshan city.
The university also signed talent cooperation agreements with Huawei, ZTE and other large enterprise groups, and organized students to go to enterprises all round the country to carry out internships and gain work experience.
