The sixth stop on the Schneider Electric 2020 Innovation Summit "Innovation Day" roadshow recently came to Xi'an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China, to discuss digital transformation with customers, partners and industry experts from western regions and all over the country.

Schneider Electric's offline "Innovation Day".
During the event, Schneider Electric shared the role of smartpower distribution in helping various industries to save energy, increase efficiency, improve productivity, enhance safety and reliability, and achieve sustainable development.

Li Rui, senior vice president of Schneider Electric and head of energy management at Low-Voltage China, delivers a keynote speech.
Li Rui, senior vice president of Schneider Electric and head of energy management at Low-Voltage China, said that technological innovation has always been a response to challenges. In the field of power distribution, Schneider Electric focuses on sustainability, professionalism and comprehensiveness in innovation, constantly expanding the value boundaries of EcoStruxure Power solutions and increasing the benefits of digital transformation for enterprises.
"We hope to bring more green and smartpower distribution solutions to the vast western market with Xi'an as the hub, and help all walks of life to obtain the benefits brought by the deep integration of digitalization and electrification," Li said.
According to Li, Schneider Electric continues to increase investment and technological research, achieving the best example of localization development in Xi'an. As an important hub on the Silk Road Economic Belt in Northwest China, Xi'an plays an important role in the steady economic growth of Shaanxi Province and even China. At the same time, Xi'an is also the headquarters of Schneider Electric in the western region.
Thanks to a good local business environment and the support and care of the Xi'an municipal Party committee and government, Schneider Electric has been rooted in this area for many years. It has continued to invest in manufacturing, supply chains and R&D, and its business influence covers the national and even global markets, Li said.
In 2012, Schneider Electric Equipment and Engineering (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. was established, and now it has become the world's largest production base of low-voltage power distribution equipment.
Schneider Electric has invested and developed in Xi'an for eight years, and has gradually established an industrial ecosystem integrating research, production, marketing and supply chains.
In August this year, Xi'an city awarded Schneider Electric the "mayor's special award" to recognize its outstanding achievements in industrial system construction, supply chain improvement, innovation, R&D and talent training, as well as its contribution to promoting the development of a high-end manufacturing industry in Xi'an.
