The School of Management under Xi'an Jiaotong University signed cooperation agreements on Sept 16 with the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Department and three companies to help them in technological creation and development.

According to the agreements the school will give full play to its advantages in the fields of big data management and application, intelligent and service-oriented manufacturing, artificial intelligence and commercial big data, and management of supply chains, accounting and financial matters, and will explore theoretical, scientific and technological innovation, and carry out achievement transformation and innovative talent training.

“In the new historical period, our school should seize all opportunities to realize the complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual assistance and win-win situation of both sides through the in-depth cooperation between the University, the local government and the enterprises, so as to make due contributions to the sustainable and healthy development of the social economy,” said Feng Gengzhong, dean of the management school.

In addition to signing the cooperation agreement, two of the three companies also donated money and equipment to the university to manage the discipline development fund and support the discipline development of the school.  

Langchao Group Co., Ltd. donated RMB 500,000 and a business big data analysis and application teaching platform worth 4.6 million yuan.

And Longji Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. donated an optical storage intelligent power station worth 1 million yuan for a Xi'an Jiaotong University microgrid research and teaching demonstration base, to show the future direction of energy development and to help construction of the university’s green innovation harbor campus.
